It wasn't as bad as back home but we did see winter for a while and there was LOTS of snow....which was all shoveled by hand and moved from the school courtyard and playgrounds by wheel barrel.
A World Junior Qualifying Tournament was held here in Kiev. We sat in the 6 row, tickets cost $7.55 each!!! It was the middle of April and "YES" it was already warm enough for tank tops!!!! Japan vs. Romania - We were cheering for Japan (Canadians on the team).
